## PreQuilt Gift Subscriptions Yes! We finally have an automated system for buying and gifting PreQuilt subscriptions. We have two different annual PreQuilt subscriptions that can be purchased and gifted through our payment system: * **Basic Annual Subscription** * Perfect for the everyday quilter in your life. They can sketch their quilt ideas, audition their fabric choices, and get the quilt math calculated to make their quilts. * **Market Annual Subscription** * Perfect for the quilt pattern designers who want to be able to do everything the Basic Plan has to offer AND be able to create digital coloring pages of their quilt patterns. ### FAQs: Gift Subscriptions #### Does the annual subscription start immediately after I purchase it? No, the clock doesn't start ticking on the subscription until the recipient claims the gift. Once claimed, the subscription will last one year. #### Will I be charged for the subscription's renewal? I only want to buy one year as a gift. No, gift subscriptions will not automatically renew and you, as the gift giver, will not be charged again. If the recipient wants to renew their subscription, they will need to add a payment method to their account. #### Can I buy the gift today, but make sure it's delivered on a specific date? Yes, at the time of purchase, you can have the gift delivered immediately or at a specified time in the future. #### Can I buy a gift subscription for just one month? No, we only have annual subscriptions set up for gifting. *** ## Buying a Gift Subscription ### a | Buy a Gift Subscription as a Guest 1. Go to 2. Click on the **button for the type of gift subscription** you'd like to purchase (**Basic or Market Plan**).
3. If you do not have a PreQuilt account, click on the **No, I don't. Check out as Guest.** button.
4. A pop-up window will appear with the price and details of the Gift Subscription. Click on the **Proceed to checkout** button. * **Note**: The price and currency will change based on where you are in the world. In this example, I'll be paying in Canadian Dollars (I'm in Toronto).
5. **Fill out the form**: 1. Recipient of the gift's first and last name and email (double check for typos!). 2. Pick when the gift should be delivered - immediately or at a specific date and time in the future. 3. Add a personal message (mandatory). 4. Your name as the gift giver.
6. **Enter your billing information**: 1. Highly recommended to add your email address for a record of purchase.
7. **Enter your payment information**: 1. We accept credit cards and PayPal. 2. For payment via PayPal, you will be temporarily rerouted to the PayPal payment process and then returned back to our system to finish your purchase.
8. Review your **information and click on the Pay & Place gift order** button.
9. Once the purchase is complete, you'll get this pop-up window.
10. After clicking on OK, you will be redirected to this final page. All done! Your gift recipient will receive an email from us alerting them of the gift with instructions on how to claim their gift.

3. If you have a PreQuilt account, click on the **Yes. I have an account. Log me in.** button. (Logging in streamlines your checkout process).
4. A pop-up window will appear. **Log into your PreQuilt account**.
5. A pop-up window will appear with the price and details of the Gift Subscription. Click on the **Proceed to checkout** button. 1. Note: The price and currency will change based on where you are in the world. In this example, I'll be paying in Canadian Dollars (I'm in Toronto).

*** ## Claiming a Gift Subscription Great news, you've received a gift subscription to PreQuilt! We're excited to have you! Follow these steps to claim and start your PreQuilt subscription. 1. **Check your email.** You should have received an email titled "\_\_\_\_ sent you a gift!" 2. **Open** the email and click on the **Claim Gift** button. * **Note:** This link only works once, only one person can claim this gift.
3. You will need to **create a PreQuilt account** to claim your subscription. To do this, **fill out the form** and **check** the checkbox. * **Attention**: If you are already a PreQuilt subscriber or have had a subscription in the past, please email us to link this gift to your existing account. **Do not** continue by creating another account.
4. A window with your gift's information will pop-up. Click on the **Proceed to claim** button.
5. **Confirm or edit** your name. Click on the **Next button**.
6. Click on the **Claim Gift button**.
7. Once completed, this window will appear. Click on the **CLOSE button**.
8. Done! You will directed into PreQuilt and you will see the Quilts Dashboard. You can now start designing your own quilts!
