Dimensions for the quilt back are based on the overall dimensions of your quilt from the PreQuilt application.
Quilt Backing
On the Backing tab, you can input some preferences for your quilt back and PreQuilt will offer you two calculations - backing with a horizontal seam and backing with a vertical seam.
