# Backing Fabric

## <mark style="color:blue;">Quilt Backing</mark>

On the **Backing tab**, you can input some preferences for your quilt back and PreQuilt will offer you two calculations - backing with a horizontal seam and backing with a vertical seam.

You can input the following variables:

* Backing width of fabric (WOF)
* Overage
