## <mark style="color:blue;">**How to Change a Fabric Link to a Different Solid Fabric**</mark>

In this Help Guide, I'm going to walk you through how you can change a fabric on a digital coloring page. In this example, I'm changing a fabric being used on a Fabric Link to another solid fabric.

I'm using the Modern Fans digital coloring page for this example. The Modern Fans quilt uses 5 different fabrics, which are labeled C1-C5. There is also a bonus fabric that is used for the binding.

1. On the left side control panel, click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**Edit**</mark> button associated with the Fabric Link you'd like to change. In this example, we'll be changing C1, which is by default Art Gallery Caviar.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="https://667278489-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FPUFswdysHBJDPIJC9xe0%2Fuploads%2FBsTAZeCpJZox4MSfFmV5%2FSolids%201b.png?alt=media&#x26;token=a96ecd1b-7efc-4f55-aa10-74b43245147a" alt=""><figcaption><p><em>Left side control panel shows all 5 fabrics being used in the quilt + binding fabric</em></p></figcaption></figure></div>
2. A panel will slide out from the left that has fabric swatches for all the other Art Gallery solid fabrics.

<figure><img src="https://667278489-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FPUFswdysHBJDPIJC9xe0%2Fuploads%2F9NvljjidFOGBzJpabkWV%2FSolids%202.png?alt=media&#x26;token=5dcf0d35-23ea-44c9-9855-8d77c52dea13" alt=""><figcaption><p><em>Solids swatch tiles slide in from the left</em></p></figcaption></figure>
3. You will notice that you can hover over different swatch tiles and PreQuilt will give you a preview of what the quilt would look like using that solid fabric.

   <figure><img src="https://667278489-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FPUFswdysHBJDPIJC9xe0%2Fuploads%2FFDHF1X2kkSzEROWs5iFX%2FSolids%203.png?alt=media&#x26;token=7564b0b9-0528-427a-a838-f1b8d205e829" alt=""><figcaption><p><em>Preview of what C1 would look like using Mauvelous</em></p></figcaption></figure>
4. <mark style="color:blue;">**Click**</mark> on the swatch tile for the new solid fabric that you'd like to use. In this example, I've selected Suzy's Cerulean.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="https://667278489-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FPUFswdysHBJDPIJC9xe0%2Fuploads%2FcXybg85raF7bhiqq7Dhu%2FSolids%204a.png?alt=media&#x26;token=14a373e9-b2df-4850-bc04-21a8f6ae5f7a" alt=""><figcaption><p><em>Click on the tile to select Cerulean</em></p></figcaption></figure></div>
5. Once you've selected your new solid fabric, the panel will close and you will see the list of the fabrics has been updated.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="https://667278489-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FPUFswdysHBJDPIJC9xe0%2Fuploads%2FxVy5Jhjisvri1S88vEDo%2FSolids%205a.png?alt=media&#x26;token=5095abfb-0d78-44b7-ab34-e59ebd7b9c29" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

   <figure><img src="https://667278489-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FPUFswdysHBJDPIJC9xe0%2Fuploads%2FRMwQVKwQ0TBZMeFWEo35%2FSolids%205b.png?alt=media&#x26;token=2575faea-9661-4b32-8a35-42e884eaf6aa" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
6. Repeat steps 1-4 until you have updated all the solid fabrics you'd like to use.
