You will need to subscribe to PreQuilt to be able to use printed fabric swatches. This is a great feature! With a subscription, you will be able to save all your digital mockups as well as be able to use printed fabric swatches to audition all your printed fabric as well as solid fabrics.

## <mark style="color:blue;">02 | Prepwork -> Import Your Printed Fabric Swatches & Set Its Width</mark>

Before being able to use a digital fabric swatch in a digital coloring page, you'll need to do a bit of prepwork first. You'll need to:

1. Find your printed fabric swatch online and save it to your computer.
2. Import your printed fabric swatch into PreQuilt.
3. Set the width of the printed fabric swatch & crop out any rulers.

## <mark style="color:blue;">03 | Use a Printed Fabric Swatch in a Digital Coloring Page</mark>

Once you've found and prepared your printed fabric swatch (Step 1 above), we can now use it in our digital coloring page.

For this example, I am going to use Suzy Quilts' Tiny Meadow in Nova fabric from her Evolve collection from AGF.

1. Click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**Edit**</mark> button associated with the Fabric Link you'd like to change. In this example, I'll be changing C5.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/7Vbm0cVuulDEmPo6KFr5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
2. Click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**PRINTS**</mark> tab on the fabric swatch panel that will slide out.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/8ITECAcBHs75TfmypNIR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
3. You will see all the prints that you have already imported to PreQuilt here.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/TVItJy20NM8VpRTtTRNI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
4. Click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**Select**</mark> button for the printed fabric swatch you'd like to use.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/sUzwmKNCzm0MXeJFObjG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
5. Click on the <mark style="color:blue;">**x button**</mark> (<img src="/files/uzDomi9DW7pf8UmCPLWq" alt="" data-size="line">) on the top right side of the Fabric Link panel to close the panel.

   <div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/rFoaYobHwkGQ2ffT7UQB" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
