Our Ribbon Star quilt progress:
After finishing the block portion of your quilt top, you might want to add a border to make it bigger or to frame your blocks. In this example, I'd like to add a 4" border around the entire quilt.
This can be quickly done in PreQuilt! You can keep repeating these steps to add up to 3 borders.
Click on the BINDING/BORDER tab on the left side control panel.
Click on the 'Add Border' button.
A 2" border will automatically be added around the entire quilt. Change the border to 4" and choose a Color Tag from the dropdown Fabric menu for the borders color.
In this example, I'll keep it Color Tag A, which is also the background fabric.
Click on the BINDING/BORDER tab on the left side control panel.
Click on the 'Add Border' button.
Another 2" border will automatically be added to the outside of the entire quilt. Change the width and Color Tag to your desired values.
In this example, I've changed the Color Tag to Color Tag D.
Now we have 2 borders around our quilt.
